Michael McIntyre breaks more records

He is the well known comedy star who keeps on beating his own records. Live and Laughing, the debut stand-up DVD of Michael McIntyre, was the fastest selling DVD only to be overshadowed by his second DVD named Hello Wembley, which sold over 1.4 million units.

On his 1st trip, he performed for around half a million people and now, the comedian is venturing on a seventy – one day tour with a whacking 8 dates at NIA in Birmingham. When he went there for the last time was in the year 2009 and that was for only 5 nights.

Already, he 550000 tickets have been sold nationwide and 4 out of 8 shows in Birmingham are sold out, but still there are tickets left for 17 – 20 September. Following a long 3 years absence from live arena, McIntyre is thrilled once again to be back on the road.

He told that he was very excited regarding this tour as he wanted this to be the very best show he had ever done. He expected that he could deliver the people the best night of their lives. His intention was to make people laugh for long two hours.

At the start of the year, he told to himself that he just wanted to concentrate on what he does best and that is stand up.

According to reports, Britain’s most loved comedian comes back with a new sell out stand up show “Showtime!” coming to DVD as well as Blue – ray on 12th November.
